5 main solutions of the week — air defense systems from Germany and ammunition from Slovakia

France will deliver Mirage 2000 fighters to Ukraine in the first quarter 2025. They will be equipped with the latest systems for fighting and protecting against EW.

Germany handed Ukraine two air defense systems, Iris-T SLM and Iris-T SLS. Berlin plans to provide two more anti-aircraft systems, as well as new infantry fighting vehicles and tanks by the end of the year.

Ukraine and Croatia concluded a bilateral security agreement. The countries pledged to establish joint defense production, strengthen cooperation in cyber security, and exchange intelligence data.

Slovakia collected more than €4 million to purchase 122 tons of ammunition for Ukraine. Volunteers transported the ammunition on six trucks to a logistics warehouse, and then they handed it over to Ukraine.

The Council of the EU approved a €35 billion loan to Ukraine. Ukraine will receive the funds this year, and it will repay the loan over a maximum of 45 years.
