On October 10, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in London and started a meeting with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer.

The Guardian reports this.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has traveled to London to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The two leaders are expected to discuss the use of British missiles.

Later Zelensky will visit France and Italy.

The President of Ukraine met with Starmer at 10 Downing Street. A red carpet was rolled out in anticipation of his arrival.

It is expected that Zelensky will also meet with the new Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, in the British capital.

Rutte will reportedly join the talks with Starmer and Zelensky and then hold a one-on-one meeting with the prime minister. Then, Zelensky continued his diplomatic tour of Europe, visiting France and Italy.

The agenda of the Downing Street talks has not been disclosed, but Zelensky will most likely seek permission from Starmer to use missiles supplied by Great Britain to strike Russian territory.

This marks Zelensky's second visit to Downing Street since Prime Minister Starmer was elected. Before becoming prime minister, Starmer, who was then the leader of the opposition, also met with Zelensky in Ukraine in February and at the NATO summit in July.

At this meeting of NATO countries, the bloc promised Ukraine an "irreversible path" to membership, which the Ukrainian government considers vital for its security.

Starmer's spokesman told reporters the day before that the British prime minister "will reaffirm Great Britain's ironclad support for Ukraine in the face of persistent Russian aggression."

It should be noted that Pope Francis also announced a meeting with the Ukrainian leader. He is expected to receive the head of state in the Vatican on the morning of October 11.

For reference:

Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Croatia on an official visit. There, he addressed the participants of the third "Ukraine-Southeastern Europe" summit and announced real steps towards peace.

Also in Dubrovnik, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held separate meetings with the Prime Ministers of Albania, North Macedonia, and Greece – Edi Rama, Hristijan Mickoski, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar.

On October 10, Zelensky will visit Great Britain, France, Italy, and Germany. He will talk with the leaders of each state: Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, Giorgia Meloni, and Olaf Scholz.
