Ukraine's armed forces launch attack on Shahed drone base in Russia's Krasnodar region, storing hundreds of UAVs
The Naval Forces, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, attacked the Shahed-type drone storage base. It was located near the village of Oktyabrsky in the Krasnodar region of Russia.
The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces reported that.
According to the General Staff, about 400 attack drones were stored at the base. Based on surveillance data, they also confirmed that the target was accurately hit. A secondary explosion was observed within the object's area.
"The destruction of the Shahed UAV storage base will significantly reduce the ability of the Russian occupiers to terrorize the peaceful residents of Ukrainian cities and villages. Combat work on the military objectives of the invaders continues," the message read.
It should be noted that in September, the Russians reported that warehouses containing their weapons were targeted in the regions of Krasnodar and Tver.
For reference:
It should be noted that in Feodosia, which is located in temporarily occupied Crimea, Russian invaders are still working to extinguish a fire at a port oil filling station that was attacked by Ukrainian defense forces on the night of October 7. Over a thousand individuals have already been evacuated.
In recent months, drone attacks on military infrastructure, oil refineries, and oil depots have been constantly occurring in Russia.
So, on the night of October 3, the attack UAVs hit the airfield "Borysoglebsk" in the Voronezh region. Guided aerial bombs are stored at the airport, and Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft are parked. Fires broke out in several areas of the airfield.
At the end of September, Ukraine's armed forces attacked the Kotluban military arsenal in the Volgograd region. Shortly before the attack, a batch of Iranian missiles arrived at the warehouse.
On the evening of September 21, in the Krasnodar region of Russia, close to Tikhoretsk, unidentified drones launched an attack on the 719th artillery ammunition depot. It was at this location that the Russians were transporting shells from North Korea.
