Russian forces attack Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, killing one and injuring six, including a child

Last night, September 23, the Russian occupation army struck the critical infrastructure and residential buildings of Zaporizhzhia, Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Kharkiv's suburbs twice.

Zaporozhzhia

At 11:46 p.m., the leader of Zaporizhzhia reported explosions in the region and city, stating that the Russians targeted the city once more and killed one person.

"The Russians struck Zaporizhzhia again and killed a person. The enemy targeted a critical infrastructure object. A fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished. Previously, there were no casualties. The Russians also struck a residential building.

Previously, one person died, two were injured. At least two private houses were destroyed," Fedorov wrote.

At 00:16 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Rehina Kharchenko, reported on Telegram about five wounded people, including a 13-year-old girl.

"Regarding those who were injured during the shelling, a 13-year-old girl and four other residents of the city were among them. Sadly, one man lost his life. The injured were taken to the city's hospital with varying degrees of severity," Kharchenko wrote.

On the morning of September 24, Fedorov reported that six people were injured, including two teenagers.

"One person died and another six people, including a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were injured as a result of Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia," he wrote.

Kharkiv region

At 5:35 p.m., Ukraine's Air Force issued a warning about the potential use of guided aerial bombs by Russia in the Kharkiv region.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced the explosion within 5 minutes, stating that preliminary information indicates the blast occurred in a nearby suburb.

Later, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov, reported that the enemy struck a forest strip on the city's outskirts. According to him, people were not injured.

"It hit the ground; the grass caught fire. The specialists of the State Emergency Service are eliminating the consequences. There were no casualties," Synehubov said.

Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region

Around 5:00 p.m., the military warned of a high-speed target from the east heading for Pavlohrad.

According to Suspilne, the sounds of an explosion were heard in the city at 5:01 p.m., and an air raid alert was declared in the city and region.

On the evening of September 24, the Russians launched an attack on multiple areas of the country using 81 attack drones and various types of missiles. The air defense forces successfully destroyed 66 enemy Shahed drones, but 13 additional unmanned aerial vehicles were lost in the region.
