For reference:

It is important to mention that the Alphajet is primarily used as a training aircraft. It has a top speed of over a thousand kilometers per hour and a flight range of 3000 kilometers. Several European countries have this type of aircraft in their fleets.

In April, it was announced that 10 Ukrainian pilots had arrived in France for training. They are being trained on Alphajet aircraft. Some of these pilots had previously undergone English training in Britain.

The training was designed to span six months, covering:

  • close air combat,
  • long-range combat with radar usage,
  • and ground attack techniques.

In total, it consisted of approximately 80 hours of flight time.

The media has also reported that the Alphajets, piloted by Ukrainians, have the same instrument panel as the F-16.
