Russia launches mass attack on Zaporizhzhia region, killing two and injuring five
On the evening of September 17, Russian invaders launched a massive attack on the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to five others.
Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this.
According to the head of the region, the Komyshuvaska community has suffered greatly. Numerous private residences and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged in the area.
According to preliminary information, two people died, and five were injured. At this time, rescuers are searching for people under the rubble.
"This is one of the most massive shelling by guided aerial bombs in recent times. Residents of the frontline areas have seconds to get to shelter," Fedorov said.

In total, during the day, the occupiers made 177 strikes on 12 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region:
- Russian troops carried out three airstrikes on Kamiansk and Piatykhatky.
- 81 UAVs of various modifications attacked Mahdalynivka, Yasynuvate, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Poltavka.
- Seventeen rounds launched by MLRS systems hit Robotyne, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, and Novodanylivka.
- Seventy-six artillery shells were fired on the territory of Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Poltavka, and Omelnyk.
"We received 12 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. Civilians were not injured," the regional military administration summarized.
Furthermore, on September 17, the Russian invaders launched targeted aerial attacks on Kharkiv, resulting in one bomb striking not far from a shopping center and causing injuries.
