In a comment to Ukrinform, press officer of the State Emergency Service Oleksandr Khorunzhy reported this.
"Ninety-seven workers died, 395 were injured," he said.
It is worth mentioning that Ukraine observes Rescuer's Day on September 17 – a holiday honoring the brave individuals who continuously protect people's safety. President Volodymyr Zelensky shared a video showcasing the challenging daily tasks of those saving lives and addressing emergencies amid a full-scale war.
The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces acknowledged and commended the efforts of all rescuers involved in responding to emergencies during the war.

The practice of honoring rescuers on this day was initiated in 2008 by President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.
It was officially implemented on September 12 of that year in support of a joint effort by the public and the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations to recognize the bravery and efforts of those who responded to the Chornobyl disaster.
