Russian troops open fire on own units in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region

The situation on the Kharkiv front is still challenging, with no significant changes. Ukraine's armed forces are successfully preventing the advancement of Russian troops.

The press service of the Operational-tactical group "Kharkiv" reports this.

The Russian invaders near Hlyboke are deploying personnel to replace losses and conducting engineering surveys to discover new logistics routes.

The enemy is building a communication system and carrying out logistical support measures near Lukiantsi.

In Vovchansk, the Russians tried to transport personnel by car, but the Ukrainian forces fired back and destroyed the enemy's equipment.

Additionally, the occupants employed MLRS strikes on their own troops near the Aggregate Plant.

The enemy intensified aerial reconnaissance in the direction of the village of Tykhe, trying to identify the positions of the Ukrainian defenders.

In the past day, there was a combat clash between Ukraine's armed forces and the enemy on the Kharkiv front. The Russian invaders conducted two airstrikes and utilized 36 kamikaze drones to target Ukrainian positions. Despite this, Ukraine's defense forces have effectively eliminated the enemy's personnel and equipment.

Over the past day, the enemy suffered 85 casualties, 22 irreversible and 61 medical. Two occupiers voluntarily surrendered.

In the Kharkiv front, Ukrainian troops destroyed or damaged 42 enemy vehicles and weapons, including:

• three artillery systems,
• three cars,
• four units of special equipment,
• and 32 drones.

They also took out:

• 43 Russian personnel shelters,
• one ammunition warehouse,
• and two drone launch pads.

Ukrainian soldiers inflict significant losses in human resources and equipment on the occupying forces and actively undermine the offensive potential of the enemy in the rear.

During the past day, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck:

• Fifteen areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the invaders.
• In total, during the past day, the Defense Forces destroyed another 1,060 Russian invaders.

According to the General Staff, on September 15, 173 combat clashes took place at the front. The enemy advanced most actively on the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsk fronts, where Ukraine's armed forces repulsed almost half of all assaults by the occupiers.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to storm once in  ​​the settlement of Vovchansk. Enemy aircraft also struck residential areas and civilian infrastructure of the city of Kharkiv and the settlement of Ruska Lozova with guided aerial bombs.

During the day, there were 20 attacks by the occupiers on the Kupiansk front. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kolisnikivka, Hlushkivka, Kruhliakivka, and Lozova.

It was previously reported that in the Kharkiv direction, the Russian invaders were pushing forward in all active front areas, fortifying their advanced positions. However, they have not been successful.
