The Russian soldiers launched yet another assault on the Kostiantynivka community, which resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries of two others. They also resumed their attack on Myrnohrad, located in the Donetsk region, just as first responders were containing a major fire from the previous attack.

State Emergency Service and the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, announced this.

Myrnohrad

"On September 11, the Russian invaders once again bombarded Myrnohrad, causing a massive fire at the local market. Over 30 market stalls, totaling 350 square meters, were engulfed in flames. While firefighters were trying to put out the fire, the enemy resumed firing dangerously close to the scene," the State Emergency Service reported.

To preserve life and health, the rescuers had to halt their efforts to put out the fire and return to their base.

Krasnoyarsk and Kostiantynivka

Russian soldiers attacked a residence in the Dobropillia community of the Donetsk region, causing the death of an 81-year-old woman and injuries to four other family members. Additionally, two civilians were wounded in Kostyantynivka due to shelling.

"In the village of Dobropillia in Krasnoyarsk, a shell struck a private home, resulting in the death of an 81-year-old woman and injuring four of her family members, who range in age from 21 to 58. Six houses and a power line in the community were also damaged," the head of the region wrote.

He also mentioned that today in Kostiantynivka, two individuals were injured, and seven homes, a power line, a gas pipeline, and a vehicle were all damaged.

Kostiantynivka community

The Kostiantynivka community was once again targeted by the Russian invaders, resulting in the death of three individuals and the injury of two others.

"There was yet another blow to the Kostiantynivska community as three individuals were killed and two others were injured in Viroliubivka. The village was subjected to artillery fire this morning, with one shell hitting a local business where people happened to be present. As a result, both a truck carrying much-needed aid and a car were destroyed," Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported.

He mentioned that, in addition, the private sector in Kostiantynivka was once more being targeted—seven houses and a power line were damaged as a result.

Filashkin urged everyone to evacuate.

It is noted that today, the Russians attacked the vehicles of the humanitarian mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Donetsk region.

As a result of the attack, three citizens of Ukraine who were full-time employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross died.

As noted by the head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, the village came under artillery fire on the morning of September 12. One of the shells hit the territory of the enterprise where people were.

A truck and a car carrying humanitarian aid were demolished, with ICRC staff on board. Along with the three fatalities, two people were injured.

"Unfortunately, three people were killed by this Russian strike. My condolences to the relatives and friends. In this war, everything is absolutely obvious: Russia carries evil, and Ukraine protects life. And if someone wants to hear "both sides," then in Russia, it is perceived only as permission to continue killing. The world must react harshly and in a principled way. Only both countries and international organizations can make Russia stop this terror and push Moscow towards seeking peace," President Volodymyr Zelensky stated.

"Everyone knows about the shelling, but the ICRC and IFRC are remaining silent! They have not responded, condemned, or expressed sympathy. This silence only seems to protect the criminal actions of the Russian Federation!" – Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine's ombudsman, said.

Lubinets emphasized that the ICRC should officially and publicly recognize Russia's violation of the norms of the Geneva Conventions.

"Do the ICRC really become completely indifferent even to the deaths of their own employees? How scared are they of telling the truth?!" the official added.

According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, ICRC employees came to the village to distribute fuel briquettes to the community for heating their homes. During the attack, theywere in the process of unloading the aid that had been delivered.

Three men, aged 40, 41, and 48, passed away. Two of their colleagues, aged 35 and 41, were injured by shrapnel and mine explosions. One of the victims is currently in critical condition.

Law enforcement officers have started a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
