"We require the determination of our partners and the necessary resources to end Russian aerial attacks. The weapons promised in the support packages must immediately reach the combat brigades. Additionally, we need our allies to provide powerful long-range strategies to bring us closer to achieving the righteous peace we desire," the president said.
During the meeting, as the President said, he:
- will personally participate in the meeting;
- will meet with Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius;

As the president stated, he will subsequently travel to Italy to participate in the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum and engage with members of the Italian business community.
He will, in particular, meet with Giorgia Meloni, the head of the Italian Council of Ministers.
"We are coordinating positions with all G7 allies," he added.
It is essential to mention that earlier, German mass media reported that on September 6, the President of Ukraine would attend another meeting in the Rammstein format.
According to an article published by Spiegel, Zelensky intends to reach out to his allies and request additional deliveries of long-range weapons and air defense systems.
Furthermore, Zelensky's visit aimed to emphasize the gravity of the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine. The Ukrainian leader is anticipated also to request the continuation of providing essential weapons to the Defense Forces.
The article mentioned that, up until now, the atmosphere in Ramstein has mainly been focused on work. However, Zelensky's visit will likely inject a political aspect into the gathering.
It should be noted that this will be the 24th meeting. Last time, Argentina joined Ramstein meeting.
In addition, a meeting between Zelensky and Scholz is expected in Frankfurt on September 6.
