The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, announced this.
"The organization guarantees 100,000 dollars for the restoration of buildings damaged due to the rocket attack on Lviv! I emphasize that we do not open accounts or fees. All the money will go directly to reconstructing the specific 20 buildings that suffered the most," Sadovyi wrote.
It should be pointed out that the city mayor had stated the day before that in the morning attack on September 4, the Russian Federation had damaged 188 buildings, with 20 of them being in critical condition.
"These are important landmarks, homes, and educational institutions. We have previous experience restoring a building in a historic area on Stryiska, which took a year and cost millions. Unfortunately, we don't have as much time now and require significantly more funds," Sadovyi emphasized.
Therefore, the mayor of Lviv called on Ukrainian and international businesses to help restore these buildings.
"We call on Ukrainian and international business to help restore these buildings. We do not announce a fundraiser! We invite you to take the building under your care and restore it," the head of the city suggested.
He said Carlsberg was the first to volunteer. They've already pledged to contribute 50,000 euros. Furthermore, the Prime Minister of Poland has also declared that his government will participate in the campaign.
