Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on Facebook.
Russian troops launched a missile attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region late in the evening on September 2.
"The enemy attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. Currently, the damage to residential buildings in one of the Dnipro districts is known," Serhii Lysak wrote.
Soon, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration informed:
"Unfortunately, there is information about the dead and three injured as a result of the missile attack on Dnipro."
Later he also clarified:
"As a result of yesterday's missile attack on the Dnipro, we have a 51-year-old deceased.
Six people were injured. One of them, a 37-year-old man, remains in the hospital. Others will recover at home."
According to Lysak, the Russians also bombarded the Nikopol district last night using a Grad self-propelled multiple rocket launcher and heavy artillery. Additionally, they carried out attacks with kamikaze drones.
The infrastructure in the Nikopol and the Marhanets communities suffered damage, but the head of the regional military administration emphasized that no casualties occurred.
On the morning of September 3, Russian troops once again launched an attack on Nikopol. The administrative building sustained damage. According to Lysak, an ongoing survey of the area is occurring.
As the head of the regional administration reported, six Russian Shahed drones were downed in the Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of September 2. Nikopol was under assault, and the Russians utilized heavy artillery and kamikaze drones in their attack.
