"If Russia wins, not only Ukraine will be defeated, but also all of us" – Danish PM
According to Mette Fredriksen, the Danish prime minister, Europe believes Ukraine must triumph in the war, with only one country opposing it.
The head of the Danish government stated this at the GLOBSEC conference in Prague.
"There is no alternative to Ukraine winning the war. Because if Russia wins, not only Ukraine will be defeated, but also all of us."
Mette Fredriksen emphasized almost unanimous agreement on this in the European Union.
"Europe has never been as united as it is now… We sometimes have internal discussions. But it's not about 12 for one option, 15 for another. No, it's about 26 against one. That is, one country against the whole of Europe," Fredriksen said.
Based on how the capitals have publicly positioned themselves, it can be presumed that the subject concerns Hungary's opposition. However, Fredriksen did not explicitly state this.
The Danish Prime Minister called on those who do not adequately support Ukraine's victory to "understand how dangerous the situation is."
