The Russian mass media and Astra Telegram channel reported that.
Rostov region
Residents of Russia claim that Ukraine's armed forces attacked the Glubokinskaya oil depot in the Kamensky district of Rostov region.
According to the SHOT channel, loud explosions sounded in the area around 02:45 in the morning. Residents of Novoshakhtinsk, Aksay, and the western part of Rostov reported hearing the explosions around this time.
Some time later, eyewitnesses to the event reported an explosion in a field near an oil depot near Kamensk-Shakhtynsk. Other channels claim that several tanks were on fire.
Later, the governor of the Rostov region, Vasiliy Golubev, confirmed that drones were spotted in the region's airspace.
"Around 03:00 am, 4 UAVs were shot down in the Rostov region. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. The information is being clarified," Golubev wrote, without clarifying whether these were all drones or not.
Subsequently, the ASTRA Telegram channel reported that the Atlas plant of the Rosreservoir of the Russian Federation was on fire in the Kamensky district of the Rostov region after the drone attack.
The company specializes in storing petroleum products. The media has previously reported that Atlas supplies oil products to the Russian military.
Voronezh region
Drones also targeted the Rossoshansky district in the Voronezh region. The local authorities reported a "fire near explosive materials."
The governor of the Voronezh region claims that the falling debris of a downed UAV caused the fire.
According to him, there was no detonation, no injuries, and no damage. Residents of two settlements were evacuated, and now, according to the governor, they are returning to their homes.
According to the locals, a group of drones launched an attack on a warehouse containing ammunition in the village of Malaya Mezhenka. The residents of this village and the nearby farm were initially evacuated but are now returning to their homes, as reported by Astra.
For reference:
It should be noted that on the night of August 24, Ukrainian scouts blew up a large warehouse of ammunition in the Voronezh region.
Artillery and tank shells of the occupiers, their cartridges for small arms, and surface-to-air missiles were stored on the territory of the military facility – more than five thousand tons of ammunition in total.
The Russian media reported that a fire at another oil depot near Proletarsk in the Rostov region has been ongoing for ten days without being extinguished.
It is worth mentioning that on the night of August 18, an oil depot in Proletarsk, located in the Rostov region, was targeted by kamikaze drones. A fire broke out as a result, and efforts to control it are ongoing. It has been confirmed that this was an operation conducted by Ukraine's intelligence agency.
At that time, the governor of the region, Vasiliy Golubev, reported that in the southeast of the area, air defense forces repelled an attack by UAVs. As a result of falling debris on the territory of industrial warehouses in Proletarsk, diesel fuel caught fire.
Later, it became known that the Ukrainian military attacked the Kavkaz plant located in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. The enterprise stored oil and oil products, which were also supplied to the Russian Federation's occupation army.
On August 23, an oil depot in Russia's Rostov region was again attacked by drones.
