Job vacancies for veterans in Ukraine increase by 82% in 2024

Since the beginning of this year, the number of job vacancies for veterans in Ukraine has increased by 82%, though management positions remain scarce, according to a study by Work.ua.

As reported by the Work.ua portal and Rubryka, the number of job offers for veterans rose from 3,229 in February 2022 to 12,334 in June 2024—almost a fourfold increase since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Despite this growth, veteran-specific vacancies still account for only 11% of all job openings.

Research analysts also compiled results from a checklist used by organizations to assess their readiness to employ veterans. Over 2,000 companies participated in the study, and job openings marked "For Veterans" on the site were also considered.
