The Defense Forces of Ukraine have begun deploying the latest MRIYA aircraft-type attack drones on the front lines.

The manufacturer, Brave Inventor, has disclosed the technical specifications of these unmanned aerial vehicles.

What is the problem?

To minimize casualties among service members during hostilities, the Ukrainian military is actively employing the latest technologies, including various types of UAVs.

What is the solution?

According to the manufacturers, as of May 30 2024, more than 200 MRIYA UAVs have been successfully deployed in combat. These drones were provided free of charge to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The UAVs have passed all necessary tests, confirming their reliability and effectiveness in real combat situations.

How does it work?

The MRIYA unmanned aerial vehicle offers several advantages that enhance its effectiveness in combat. It delivers high strike accuracy, minimizing collateral damage and increasing the efficiency of operations.

The MRIYA UAV offers numerous advantages thanks to its advanced features:

  1. High Accuracy of Strikes: The ability to deliver precise strikes reduces collateral damage and enhances the effectiveness of combat operations.
  2. Large Operational Radius: With a range of up to 75 km, the "MRIYA" can execute missions deep within enemy territory, a critical advantage in modern warfare.
  3. High Speed and Maneuverability: The drone's cruising speed of 70 km/h and maximum speed of 110 km/h make it both fast and agile in the field.
  4. Extended Flight Duration: Capable of flying for up to 65 minutes, the "MRIYA" can undertake long missions without frequent recharging.
  5. Versatility: Its modular design allows it to be equipped with a variety of targeting systems, enabling the "MRIYA" to perform tasks such as precise destruction of enemy personnel and equipment, neutralization of electronic warfare (EW) and anti-aircraft defenses, and counter-battery operations.

The manufacturers have emphasized their ongoing efforts to scale production to supply more of these high-tech tools to Ukrainian defenders, thereby increasing combat capability and broadening the range of complex combat tasks they can undertake.

Additionally, Ukraine has developed armor-piercing ammunition for FPV drones, effective against lightly armored vehicles like self-propelled guns, armored personnel carriers, and vehicles protected by anti-accumulation and anti-drone measures.

Ukrainian engineers have also created a new combat module called Khyzhak, which integrates advanced machine vision technology with powerful weaponry to destroy moving targets both in the sky and on the ground.
