The Brave1 defense cluster announced this on Facebook.
What is the problem?
Ukraine is incorporating cutting-edge technology into its military strategy, specifically using drones with automatic guidance. This dramatically simplifies target acquisition.
Soon, Ukrainians can expect the utilization of these drones for large-scale operations. Around 20 FPV drones will conduct searches and automatically eliminate targets. Unlike its cautious Western allies, Ukraine has embraced artificial intelligence as a necessary measure to protect our personnel.
What is the solution?
During the Precision hackathon, the team from Ukraine, known as the Dons, showcased their remote-controlled combat module called the "Khyzhak." This impressive invention utilizes advanced machine vision technology and formidable weaponry to effectively take down moving targets in both the air and on land.
How does it work?
The "Khyzhak" module boasts a range of noteworthy capabilities:
The development team intends to conduct field trials for the "Khyzhak" in the upcoming months. If the tests are successful, they will begin mass production.
The module will be part of efforts to improve the combat effectiveness of Ukraine's armed forces.
The Dons team, made up of 30 specialists including scientists, designers, radio engineers, and mechanics, is certain that their product will not only bring Ukraine closer to victory, but will also play a crucial role in saving the lives of the Ukrainian military.
"Khyzhak" is vital in advancing modern combat systems and holds great potential to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities by offering innovative strategies to fight the enemy.
For reference:
Brave1 is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Digital, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Economy. Its purpose is to stimulate and support the development of companies working in the field of defense technologies.
Furthermore, Brave1, the Ukrainian cluster dedicated to the development of military technologies, has unveiled its latest creation: the ground-based kamikaze robot Ratel S. This innovative robot enables safe long-distance attacks on enemy targets.
Also, at the Brave1 exhibition, one of the prototypes of unmanned underwater torpedoes was presented; several versions of such drones are currently being developed in Ukraine.
Moreover, the Ukrainian developers are actively working on the latest technologies that will save wounded soldiers and civilians and help in the fight against the Russian invaders.
