Russia under drone attack: fires erupt in Kursk, victims in Sudzha from falling debris
In Russia, during the night of Tuesday, August 6, at least 26 drones were shot down in two different regions. A fire also occurred in the Kursk region. The local authorities reported the deployment of air defense in response to the drone attack, as well as the falling debris in Sudzha.

Smirnov reported that Russian air defense purportedly took down 26 drones over the region last night.
According to local Telegram channels, the night explosions were heard in the Sudzha, Korenovo, Lhovsky, Belovsky, Kurchatovsky, and Oktyabrsky districts of the Kursk region.
At the same time, the local authorities initially announced the missile threat twice.
Social media also shared videos of a fire reportedly caused by an air strike in Sudzha.
The governor reported that the shelling of Sudzha has allegedly resulted in five casualties, including three children.
Several buildings were also reportedly damaged.
It should be noted that explosions in the Kursk region have been heard almost daily since mid-July 2024.

Bryansk region
