Ukraine's armed forces' training ground hosted a presentation showcasing the latest Ukrainian-made unmanned systems. These technologies aim to counterbalance the enemy's greater numbers and protect the lives of Ukrainian soldiers by providing a powerful alternative to conventional weapons.

The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces reports this.

What is the problem?

As Ukraine defends its sovereignty and territorial integrity, it must turn to more innovative and advanced technologies, such as unmanned systems, to gain an advantage on the battlefield.

One of the main reasons why Ukraine needs more unmanned systems in its fight against Russia is to save the lives of its soldiers. With the use of drones, robots, and other unmanned systems, the Ukrainian military can conduct reconnaissance and surveillance missions without risking the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

Moreover, unmanned systems can also give Ukraine a tactical advantage against the more advanced and well-equipped Russian military. These systems offer precision and accuracy, making targeting enemy positions easier and reducing collateral damage. They can also be equipped with advanced sensors and weapons, making them a formidable force on the battlefield.

What is the solution?

Colonel Andrii Lebedenko, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's armed forces, emphasized the importance of using robotic drones to replace humans on the battlefield. He noted that unmanned strike systems have already become a high-quality alternative to artillery and other traditional weapons and have proven more effective in many ways.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine actively cooperate with domestic and foreign developers of military technologies, striving to ensure the wide use of artificial intelligence in military operations. Lebedenko emphasized that these technologies are the basis for Ukraine's future victory because they allow the effective use of resources and reduce risks for the military.

For reference:

Ukrainian creators of the Brave1 cluster have designed a FoxTac remote-controlled evacuation platform to transport injured soldiers from the battlefield safely. The transporter has successfully completed initial tests and is currently in the codification stage.

In addition, a robot that can transport two wounded people at once will be mass-produced in Ukraine.

Additionally, the transportation company "Ukrzaliznytsia" has already converted 68 railway cars in the last two years to be used for medical evacuation by its employees.
