For reference:

On the night of August 1, 2024, Russian troops launched Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied Crimea. They also attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type UAVs from Cape Chauda (Crimea) and Kursk.

In several regions, an air raid alert was announced at night due to the threat of using ballistics and UAVs.

In the Kyiv region, the Air Defense Forces were active. By morning, it was reported that two individuals had been injured and houses damaged due to debris from a UAV falling in the area.

Furthermore, on that night, the enemy carried out a rocket attack on the Mykolaiv region, causing several fires. Fortunately, there were no casualties from the Russian shelling.

During the night, the Russians launched an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region using a Shakhed UAV. The enemy drone was successfully destroyed.

On the night of July 31, 2024, the enemy carried out one of the most massive attacks by attack drones of the "Shahed-131/136" type since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. In total, the occupiers launched 89 kamikaze drones from different regions of Russia. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the UAVs and another Kh-59 missile.

As a result of a massive attack by enemy attack drones on the night of July 31 in the Kyiv region, damage was recorded to 13 private homes in four districts, and a fire broke out in one of the homes as a result of the fall of the drone debris.

The head of Ukraine's Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, announced this morning that the air defense forces successfully brought down all seven Shahed drones in the Kyiv, Poltava, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions using radio engineering technology. However, there were no reports of downed missiles.
