United to win: Great Britain sends over 12,000 anti-tank missiles to aid Ukraine
As part of military aid, Great Britain has supplied Ukraine with more than 12,000 anti-tank weapons since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
The UK Defense Journal reports this.
Luke Pollard, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defense of Great Britain, released this information in response to MP James Cartledge's request.
The deputy asked about the number of anti-tank weapons purchased for Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
"The Department of Defense has delivered more than 12,000 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine since the country's conflict with Russia began," Pollard replied on July 25, 2024.
However, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain did not reveal the details of what exactly is meant by the term "anti-tank weapon".

Pollard also emphasized Britain's desire to cooperate with international allies to support Ukraine.
"We will continue to work with international allies and partners to align and coordinate our support to Ukraine. …as a demonstration of our collective and enduring commitment to build a Ukrainian force capable of deterring Russian aggression over the long term," he added.
In Britain, anti-tank weapons are considered not only NLAW and Javelin ATGMs, but also Brimstone missiles. Ukraine received all these types of weapons from various governments of the United Kingdom starting in 2022.
