Russian drones target civilians in Kherson, injuring five near local store

In Kherson, on July 26, Russian invaders dropped explosives from a drone on people standing near a store, injuring five residents.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, reported that.

According to the military administration, the individuals who sustained explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds are as follows:

• Men aged 64, 66, 55, and 63 years old;
• A 66-year-old woman.

In addition, as noted, the occupiers threw explosives at people when they were near the store on the street.

The ambulance crew took all the victims to medical facilities in moderate condition, where they received the necessary medical assistance.

"The 64- and 66-year-old men and the 66-year-old woman have blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. They are being provided with the necessary medical assistance.

A 55-year-old man has explosive and closed craniocerebral injuries, a concussion, and a fragmentary facial injury. A 63-year-old man received an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the abdomen," Mrochko emphasized.

At midnight, Russian forces deployed additional UAVs to attack Ukraine. One group of drones headed northeast through the Sumy region towards Chernihiv, while another group flew south through Kherson towards the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.

At 00:40, the first group of drones was recorded on the border of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, and the second – in the Kherson region.

The Russians attacked Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region with attack drones, as a result of which there was a hit and an injured person.

Later, it became known that after the night Russian attack by drones in Nizhyn, the number of victims increased to 15 people. In addition, the dormitory that was hit is not suitable for living.

Moreover, the enemy launched a massive attack on the Zhytomyr region on the night of July 25. Infrastructural facilities and houses were damaged.

In general, the Russian occupying forces attacked Ukraine on the night of July 26 with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 22 attack drones: the Air Defense Forces managed to destroy 20 enemy drones.
