United to win: Luxembourg and Denmark contribute €2 mln in network equipment to Ukraine through IT coalition
Thanks to Luxembourg and Denmark's contributions, the IT coalition transferred to Ukraine network equipment and auxiliary licenses worth more than 2 million euros. This equipment will strengthen the power of data processing centers and cyber defense of the Ministry of Defense and Ukraine's armed forces.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that.
Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Transformations, Digital Development and Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko noted:
"Cyber protection specialists of the Ministry of Defense and Ukraine's armed forces protect information and communication systems and networks from cyber-attacks. The new batch of equipment will improve the protection of our networks and contribute to implementing several information systems – this is one of our priorities. We continue to work for technological superiority over the enemy."
The IT coalition led by Estonia and Luxembourg handed over laptops, monitors, and other communication equipment worth 900,000 euros to Ukraine's armed forces. In general, the IT coalition has already provided more than 5 million euros of aid for the development of IT infrastructure for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Defense Forces of Ukraine within the limits of the contributions of Great Britain, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, and bilateral aid from Canada.
For reference:
The IT coalition is a particular group of states within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group ( in the "Ramstein format"), led by Estonia and Luxembourg.
The IT coalition aims to build a secure and reliable IT infrastructure for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, allowing Ukraine to be more effective on the battlefield, promote transparent management of defense resources, and ensure more effective use of capabilities.
The total volume of the listed and announced contributions of the IT coalition member countries is about 60 million euros.
