- humanitarian cooperation.
Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Tusk will sign an agreement on cooperation in the security field between Ukraine and Poland and talk to media representatives.
Warsaw and Kyiv are supposed to coordinate their positions before the NATO summit in Washington, which starts tomorrow, July 9.
Andrzej Duda is flying to the USA with Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamisz and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski.
It should be noted that the Polish media recently reported that Zelensky will visit Warsaw on the eve of the NATO summit, where he will sign an agreement on security guarantees.
At the end of June, Ukraine and Poland held the final round of negotiations on security guarantees. Tusk said that Kyiv and Warsaw will sign an agreement before the NATO summit.
What is known about the NATO summit to be held in Washington
We will remind you that this year's NATO summit will be held from July 9 to 11 in Washington in the United States.
It was reported that strengthening support for Ukraine will be one of the issues discussed by the leaders of NATO member states during the North Atlantic Alliance summit in July this year.
As Rubryka already reported, on May 31, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that a feature of the NATO summit on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Alliance's founding would be "a very strong package for Ukraine."
On the same day, the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, stated that at the meeting in Prague, the NATO allies made progress on three issues: better coordination of the Alliance in the matter of arms supply and personnel training, determination of long-term financial support for Ukraine, and Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
It will be recalled that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg invited President Volodymyr Zelensky to the anniversary summit of the Alliance in Washington on July 9-11.
As stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the summit in Washington also plans to agree on a significant aid package for Ukraine.
In addition, a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and American leader Joe Biden is possible on the sidelines of the summit. At least the White House is preparing for such a meeting.
