The third Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex, the transfer of which the German authorities previously announced, has arrived in Ukraine.
This was announced by the German ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Jaeger, Rubryka writes, referring to his post on Twitter.
"The third Patriot air defense system from Germany has already arrived in Ukraine. It will strengthen the protection of the country's population and infrastructure against aircraft, drones, and missiles," he said.
The ambassador added that the system's Ukrainian crew had successfully undergone appropriate training in Germany in recent months.
Ukraine needs Patriot systems
Patriot is a powerful anti-aircraft missile complex that can significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities. It is capable of shooting down ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as aircraft, protecting cities and critical infrastructure.
We will remind you that the Supreme Council of National Defense of Romania, during a meeting headed by President Klaus Iohannis, approved the transfer of the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine.
Also, Ukraine will receive another Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex, which the Netherlands will transfer together with another country.
