It has been reported that there was a nighttime drone attack on a factory producing aviation fuel in the Tver region of Russia. The targeted facility is the Redkin Research Plant, located approximately 40 kilometers from Tver.

The Russian Astra Telegram channel reported that.

According to the Russian mass media, the factory was allegedly attacked by four kamikaze drones on the night of June 27.

Baza reported that the plant was attacked at approximately 2 a.m. by three drones, followed by another drone two hours later targeting the enterprise's territory.

  • a pipeline,
  • its roof,

The Redkin Research Plant is located about 40 kilometers from Tver. According to publicly available information, the plant produces chemical reagents and additives, including those utilized in the military industry.

The plant also produces aviation fuel.

The company itself did not report the attack. The authorities of the Tver region stated that the drones allegedly attacked the Konakiv municipal district, which includes the settlement of Redkino.

The governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, acknowledged the attack and said that emergency services are working on the spot to "eliminate the consequences of the fall of the UAV."

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, four drones were reportedly shot down over the Tver region, as well as two over the Moscow region and one more over the Belgorod region.

The Ukrainian government and military typically refrain from commenting on attacks that occur in Russian territory.

It's worth mentioning that the Ukrainian special services have already conducted numerous attacks on Russian factories. They use drones to target military-related facilities, such as oil depots and refineries.

On June 17, objects in three regions were attacked in Russia. One of the targets was the Novolypetsk metallurgical plant and the local tractor factory.
