Russia strikes Kharkiv, damaging kindergarten, houses, industrial zone and stadium

On the morning of June 25, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on an industrial zone and a stadium, partially damaging a kindergarten and residential buildings.

Dmytro Chubenko, the spokesman of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, reported this on Telegram.

"On June 25, around 10:00 a.m., the Russians carried out at least three strikes on the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. They used aviation weapons launched from the Belgorod region. The targets were the industrial zone and the stadium. The explosions caused partial damage to the facades of a kindergarten and a sports complex, shattering their windows," Chubenko said.

In addition, he added, windows in residential buildings were broken. There are no casualties.

According to preliminary data from law enforcement officers, the Russian army attacked the city with UMPK FAB-250 bombs (with a planning and correction module).

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 438 (Violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Today, June 25, around 10 a.m., explosions rang out in Kharkiv. The troops of the Russian Federation struck a residential building.

Prior to this, the Air Force had issued a warning about the threat of missile attacks.
"The blow fell on a residential building in one of the largest districts of the city. Previously, there were no dead or injured. Apartment buildings were damaged," Terekhov, Kharkiv's Mayor, reported.
Oleh Synehubov, the head of the Kharkiv's Regional Military Administration, stated that the Russians used a guided aerial bomb in the attack.
"The occupiers hit the civilian infrastructure with an anti-tank missile. At the moment, there are no casualties," he wrote on Telegram.

It should be noted that Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay calling for help stopping Russian attacks on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region.
