Solutions to win: BGV, People of Future Foundation and N-Club raise about $150,000 for Ukrainian military equipment

In April, Gennadii Butkevych's investment group, BGV Group Management, teamed up with the BGV Charity Fund and Sviatoslav Vakarchuk's "People of the Future" foundation to host a charity event. The N-club business club also lent its support. The event's goal was to gather funds for the Ukrainian military to acquire crucial equipment. In total, 6 million hryvnias, equivalent to roughly 150,000 USD, were raised.

Rubryka informs about this with reference to the BGV Charity Fund.

What is the solution?

The BGV Charity Fund is devoted to actively pursuing partnerships for the charitable endeavors in order to attract more collaborators, improve the success of our charity events, and broaden opportunities to assist Ukrainian defenders.

How does it work?

Therefore, in April, the investment group BGV Group Management, led by Gennadii Butkevych, organized a charity event in collaboration with the BGV Charity Fund, Sviatoslav Vakarchuk's Foundation "People of the Future", and with the backing of the N-club business club, to collect donations for supplying essential equipment to the Ukrainian military.

The fundraising event was a chamber acoustic concert featuring Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, where he played his own compositions and popular hits from his band, "Okean Elzy".

The charity auction was a highlight of the evening, as participants generously purchased items donated by both the military and well-known Ukrainian athletes in support of the collection's goal.

Therefore, due to the ticket and lot sales, nearly 6 million hryvnias were raised.

The organizers contributed an additional 500 thousand hryvnias to the total amount.

As a result, the BGV Charity Fund procured and donated equipment worth 3 million hryvnias to the military.

For military unit A 2298, 230 sets of protective ammunition for fighters were purchased for 1 million 200 thousand hryvnias.

The Separate Assault Brigade "Liut" was provided with combat vehicles for a total of 1,200,000 hryvnias. This includes:

  • a four-seater buggy with a board for 700,000 hryvnias,
  • an ATV for 326,000 hryvnias,
  • a trailer for 74,500 hryvnias,
  • and a nine-channel electronic television for 100,000 hryvnias.

A minibus worth 700,000 hryvnias was bought and modified for the A1435 military unit. The vehicle will be utilized for service and operational missions, specifically for transporting personnel to task locations and carrying cargo directly needed for combat operations.

Sviatoslav Vakarchuk's charitable foundation "People of the Future" purchased and handed over the necessary equipment for Ukrainian defenders for a total amount of more than 3 million hryvnias.

  • For 5 separate tank brigades, a ground drone "Vepryk" and EW systems were purchased, as well as FPV drones and initiation boards (36 each) and 2 Mavic 3T with a thermal imager – for a total of 1,708 thousand hryvnias.
  • The National Guard of Ukraine's 13th brigade, also known as "Khartiia," recently received 35 FPV "Thunder" units and 35 VZ-1 dynamometric sensors, which were purchased for 770,000 hryvnias.
  • Additionally, the 24th brigade acquired 3 Mavic 3T drones equipped with thermal imagers for a cost of 636,000 hryvnias.

The BGV Charitable Fund and Gennadii Butkevych's BGV Investment Group express their gratitude for the cooperation of Sviatoslav Vakarchuk's "People of the Future" foundation, and also thank the N-club business club and Sviatoslav Vakarchuk personally for their assistance in organizing the event.
For reference:

It was reported earlier that the rock band "Okean Elzy" released a new version of their hit song in support of the "We are to live here" collection for Ukrainian sappers. The "We are to live here" campaign, organized by Kyivstar and the "Come Back Alive" fund, aimed to raise 175,000,000 hryvnias to provide transportation and necessary equipment for 146 engineering and sapper groups in the Support Forces of Ukraine's armed forces for demining.

It was also reported that the leader of "Okean Elzy" Sviatoslav Vakarchuk visited a separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.

In addition, the band "Okean Elzy" recorded the song "Misto Mariii" ["Maria's City" in English – ed.], which was dedicated to the heroic defenders of Mariupol.
