First time in history: Ukraine secures Olympic license in rock climbing
Today, June 22, the semi-final part of the second stage of the Olympic qualifying series for rock climbing, held in Budapest, Hungary, ended. 28-year-old Yevheniia Kazbekova obtained a license for the 2024 Olympics in dueling.

The qualification was attended by the representatives of dueling, who fought for 11 Olympic licenses. One of them was the Ukrainian Yevheniia Kazbekova.
Ukrainian athlete took 6th place at the first stage of Olympic qualification in Shanghai (China).
Kazbekova took 5th place in bouldering. After that, the climbers had a difficulty competition, where the fate of the trip to the capital of France could be decided.
Kazbekova was able to cope with the difficult Budapest track: she scored 42 points in this type of program and, with a total score of 91.6 points, took the place, no lower than 10. This turned out to be enough to get a license for the Olympics.
