Ukrainian drones strike Russian military objects in three regions of Russia

On the night of June 17, Ukrainian drones carried out attacks on military sites across three regions in Russia, specifically Belgorod, Voronezh, and Lipetsk.

RBC-Ukraine reports this, referring to a source in the special forces.

According to the interlocutor, Ukraine's intelligence utilized kamikaze drones in the operation.

It was also mentioned that the intended targets were the Novolypetsk metallurgical plant and the nearby tractor plant.

The aggressor country uses these enterprises for military purposes.

Explosions were heard in the vicinity of these objects, and locals also reported about "air defense work."

Currently, information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down one drone over the Belgorod region, two over Voronezh, and three over Lipetsk.

According to reports, a drone strike may have damaged a substation in Rostov, resulting in a power outage in the city.

The so-called "governors" of the Lipetsk and Voronezh regions also reported on the air threat. In the last one, around 3 a.m. local time, according to local residents, explosions rang out.

At the same time, according to Russian media, a tractor factory and a metallurgical plant were attacked in Lipetsk.

The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, reported the alleged downing of four UAVs over the industrial area of ​​Lipetsk.

He added, "law enforcement officers are working where the debris fell. There are no victims."

The Astra Telegram channel noted that residents reported explosions and smoke over the tractor plant and the attack on the Novolypetsk metallurgical plant.

It should be noted that on June 14, air defense forces and means of air defense were deployed in several regions of Russia, as well as in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea, due to an alleged large-scale attack using drones.

As reported, Ukraine attacked the Russian airfield in Morozovsk with at least 70 drones.
