Russian aerial bomb hits residential quarter of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region, injuring five

On the night of June 10th, in Donetsk, the Russian occupying forces deliberately targeted a residential area in Kostiantynivka with a "KAB–500" bomb, causing varying degrees of injury to five innocent civilians.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

According to the information provided by the prosecutor's office, at 11:20 p.m. on June 10, the Russian military conducted an airstrike on Kostiantynivka. Initial reports indicate that the enemy used a guided "KAB-500" aerial bomb equipped with a universal planning and correction module, targeting a settlement on the front line.

"The weapon was aimed at a residential quarter, where five local residents were injured in their apartments as a result of broken glass and a powerful blast wave.

A 65-year-old man and women aged 63 to 88 were taken to the hospital," the prosecutor's office noted.

The department clarified that the victims were diagnosed with a craniocerebral injury and multiple cuts on the body – all were provided with qualified medical assistance.

"At least 13 apartment buildings were damaged: windows and panes were broken in the houses," they added.

Prosecutors take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, on June 10, the Russians killed one resident of the Donetsk region — in Serhiivka. Another nine people in the area were injured during the day.

The total number of Russian victims in the Donetsk region is given without taking into account Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Operational situation in the region as of the morning of June 11

• Pokrovsky district. Artillery shelled Zoriane and Yelyzavetivka in the Mariinka community. In the Kurakhiv community, an enterprise in Novoselidivka was damaged; Kurakhove, Kurakhivka, Hostre, and Hirnyk were shelled. Two people were injured in Pokrovsk. The enterprise in Halytsynivka, Novohrodivska community, was damaged.
• Kramatorsk district. Terny, Yampolivka, and Zarichne are under fire in the Lyman community. An industrial zone was fired upon in the Mykolaiv community. In Kostiantynivka, five people were injured, 16 high-rise buildings, two administrative buildings, and two infrastructure objects were damaged.
• Bakhmut district. In the Chasovoyarsk community, six private houses and two high-rise buildings were damaged. Four houses and an administration building were damaged in Toretsk, and one more house was destroyed in Shcherbynivka.

In total, the Russians shelled populated areas of the Donetsk region 15 times during the day. Ninety-four people, including 11 children, were evacuated from the front line.
