Ukraine and Netherlands leaders discuss air defense, joint production, and tech exchange to bolster national defense
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met in Kyiv with the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Kajsa Ollongren.

The leader of the Ukrainian government expressed gratitude for the support in bolstering Ukraine's air defense. He highlighted the efforts of the Netherlands to collaborate with its partners in jointly supplying the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine.

"We also expect the earliest possible transfer of F-16 aircraft, which will help protect people and infrastructure," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
The parties also talked about collaborating on defense production and exchanging technology. Additionally, they touched on the upcoming Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
The Prime Minister emphasized, "We appreciate the fact that the Netherlands will be represented at the highest level."

Another important topic of the meeting is Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. Denys Shmyhal noted that Ukraine relies on the active advocacy of the Netherlands in further work with key partners of the Alliance regarding the comprehensive support of Ukraine.
