A source in the Defense Forces told RBC-Ukraine about this.

"The task is accomplished; the measures will continue," the interlocutor told the publication.

It's worth mentioning that Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, also announced the attack by kamikaze drones on the Starooskol city district's oil depot.

According to him, as a result, one of the tanks caught fire, but the fire was allegedly extinguished, and "no one was injured."

"Four fire brigades quickly extinguished the fire. The blast wave blew out the windows of the security building. There were no casualties," Gladkov wrote.

At the same time, due to the attack of drones in the Russian Federation, the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region was also on fire that night.

Local authorities claim that a fire started there as a result of the hit. According to local Telegram channels, several explosions were heard in the area of the refinery, and a "pillar of fire" arose.

Russian mass media wrote that drones hit the factory. The video shows a large fire.

Golubev, the governor of the Rostov region, confirmed that drones hit the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant.

As a result, a fire broke out at the plant. Emergency response services are on site.

Based on initial reports from local authorities, the plant fire extended to an area measuring 50 square meters. Approximately 120 individuals and 15 equipment units were engaged in extinguishing the fire.

The work was stopped due to a repeated attack.

In addition, a fire train is being prepared.

The governor of the region announced at 3:00 a.m. that the fire at the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant had been contained to 100 square meters. Initial reports suggest that there were no casualties or injuries.

It should be noted that the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces confirmed that Neptune missiles hit the ferry crossing and the oil terminal of the Kavkaz port in the Krasnodar region of Russia on the night of May 31.

As reported, strikes by Ukrainian drones on Russia's energy infrastructure since the beginning of this year turned off 14% of the country's oil refining facilities and provoked an increase in domestic fuel prices.
