Russian rocket attack on Kyiv sparks devastation and flames

On the night of May 31, the Russian occupying forces attacked Kyiv with rockets. Air defense forces destroyed all targets.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reports this on Telegram.
According to Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), a missile strike caused a fire in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.

The fire caused damage to several facilities, including:
- a service station,
- a car wash,
- six cars,
- and a warehouse.

The fire covered an estimated area of 120 square meters. As of 08:00, there is currently no information regarding the victims and fatalities.
According to early data, the attackers utilized cruise missiles for the strike. The air defense forces successfully took them all out. The exact type and amount of weapons that were destroyed will soon be determined by the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces.

It is worth mentioning that the air alert was announced twice during the night in Kyiv and the surrounding area: from 3:19 to 3:36 and again from 4:50 to 5:15. Around 5:00 a.m., the city residents heard explosions.
