Ukraine's armed forces eliminate 1,400 Russian invaders, 14 tanks, and a ship in a single day

Yesterday, on May 19, Ukraine's armed forces eliminated over 1,400 Russian invaders, bringing the total number of Russian casualties to almost 493,690 soldiers since the full-scale invasion began. The Ukrainian military also sunk the enemy's ship.
The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces reported that on Facebook.
As the defenders pointed out, they managed to eliminate 1,400 aggressors yesterday.
In addition, during the almost complete 816 days of the war, the Ukrainian military "demilitarized" thousands of units of armored vehicles, automobiles, and aviation of the Russian troops.
Last day, Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 14 tanks, 35 armored vehicles, and 50 artillery systems.
The Air Force subsequently landed 81 Russian UAVs and one cruise missile.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 20.05.24 approximately amounted to:
- personnel – 493,690 (+1,400) people;
- tanks – 7,590 (+14) units;
- armored fighting vehicles – 14,665 (+35) units;
- artillery systems – 12737 (+50) units.
- MLRS – 1076 (+2) units;
- air defense equipment – 807 (+4) units;
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 10236 (+81);
- cruise missiles – 2205 (+1);
- ships – 27 (+1) units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 17,311 (+60) units;
- special equipment ‒ 2079 (+2).

It should be noted that on May 19, the Russian naval minesweeper "Kovrovets" was destroyed in Crimea by the Naval Forces of Ukraine's armed forces.
According to the military command, the Defense Forces successfully thwarted the enemy's efforts to push further into the country's territory. While the situation at the front in Ukraine remains tense, it is currently under control.
On the night of May 20, the occupiers launched a series of attacks on several regions using Shahed-131/136 drones. Thankfully, the Ukrainian naval forces were able to successfully destroy four of these drones in the southern part of the country. Additionally, air defense forces were active in the Lviv region.
