The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science, and Technology Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov talked about the details of manufacturing drones.

Fedorov reports that on Telegram.

According to him, "US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was shown one of the drone factories. The drones manufactured there are actively purchased by the state and delivered to the front."

The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation also noted that the meeting was attended by:

  • Penny Pritzker, US Special Representative for Economic Recovery of Ukraine
  • US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.

"They discussed the specifics of production, logistics in conditions of war and the localization of the manufacture of components for UAVs. The delegation saw how Ukrainian innovations are produced – FPV drones and attack copters, which are widely used on the battlefield and have already proven their effectiveness. In fact, most of the Russian tanks and various armored vehicles are being destroyed by Ukrainian drones," Fedorov said.

As the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized, the United States is a strategic partner of Ukraine, whose assistance has a critical impact on the battlefield and the state's economic situation.

"It is important for partners to understand what is happening inside the Ukrainian defense industry and what the real opportunities for cooperation are. The market is growing and scaling rapidly, we need more investments to cover the needs of the front and use the latest technologies," he said.

Fedorov also recalled that during the press briefing, Blinken announced a new $2 billion aid package for Ukraine's defense-industrial complex, and a special fund – the Defense Enterprise Fund – was created to transfer the funds.

"Clear actions at the right time. Thank you to Anthony Blinken, Penny Pritzker, and Bridget Brink for the visit and systematic unwavering support of Ukraine," Fedorov emphasized.

Anton Demyokhin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization of Ukraine, held a series of meetings in the US on strengthening Ukraine's cyber security in the face of Russian aggression.

For reference:

As Rubryka reported, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday to demonstrate US solidarity with Ukraine, which is undergoing massive Russian shelling.

It was the first visit by a high-ranking US official to Ukraine since Congress passed a long-awaited $61 billion military aid package to Ukraine last month.

A meeting was also held between the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, and the Secretary of State of the United States, Anthony Blinken. Government officials discussed the details of the next military aid package from the US in the amount of 400 million dollars.
