Russia shells Kharkiv, targeting residential buildings and injuring nine civilians
Russian troops attacked Kharkiv, in particular residential buildings in the central part of the city. Nine victims are reported.
The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Synehubov, report this.
Russian soldiers bombarded the 10th floor of an apartment building. Fortunately, no fire broke out. As a result, rescue workers conduct a thorough search of each apartment for potential victims. Additionally, around ten garages were hit and are currently on fire.
According to preliminary data, nine victims in the city are in a mild condition, with an acute reaction to stress.

It should be noted that on the morning of May 14, Russian invaders attacked the Kyiv district of Kharkiv with two aerial bombs, as a result of which two people were injured.

On May 11, the spokesman of the "Khortytsia" Operational and strategic grouping of troops, Nazar Voloshyn, reported that in the Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are not allowing the Russian occupying forces to advance deep into the area, the "gray zone" is not expanding.
On May 12, it became known that the Ukrainian Defense Forces were forced to leave some positions in the north of the Kharkiv region, and the settlements came under the control of the Russian invaders.
On May 13, the enemy continued the offensive operation in the Kharkiv region. The Russian invaders occupied several more villages and continued to approach the city of Vovchansk.
