Ukraine’s famous postal service “Nova Poshta” expands to Great Britain

Nova Poshta has recently opened two branches and initiated courier delivery in its 13th European country. The estimated delivery time from Ukraine to Great Britain is five days.

What is the solution?

Great Britain became the 13th European country where the company opened a Nova Post branch.

"Our expansion in Europe is ongoing. We opened in Spain last week, and today, we are excited to announce our official entry into the UK market. Along with opening new branches, we have also introduced courier delivery services. Shortly, we will also offer the option to send and receive parcels through our partner InPost's network of post offices. Our goal is to provide Ukrainians with a convenient and efficient delivery service, similar to what they are accustomed to at home," comments Viacheslav Klymov, co-owner of the NOVA (New Post) group of companies.

How does it work?

The company opened two offices simultaneously in London, one for mails up to 30 kg and the other for shipping cargo weighing up to 1000 kg.

They work at these addresses every day:

• the Post Office for packages up to 30kg at 42 Fleet Street, Temple, EC4Y 1BT,
• and the Cargo department for packages up to 1000kg at Unit 7, Falcon Court, St. Martin's Way, SW17 0JH.

The delivery fees for sending items from Ukraine to the branch in Great Britain will vary based on the weight:

• for documents weighing up to 1 kg, the cost will be 900 hryvnias;
• parcels weighing up to 2 kg will cost 950 hryvnias.

For heavier parcels, the fees are as follows:

• Up to 10 kg will be 1,500 hryvnias.
• And up to 30 kg will be 2,500 hryvnias.

Customers can also opt for courier delivery of packages weighing up to 100 kg to any location in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. An extra UAH 100 will be required for packages weighing up to 30 kg, and an additional UAH 250 for every 100 kilograms after that.

Eduard Fesko, the Acting Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, attended the opening and was honored as the first guest to send a greeting card to Ukraine.

"The partnership between Ukraine and Great Britain today is a successful example of support and mutually beneficial cooperation. We support Ukraine, its citizens, and businesses. Nova Poshta's entry into the UK market testifies to the stability of Ukrainian business. Its readiness to adapt, develop, and scale. I am sure that the opening of the branch will be only the beginning of the large-scale development of the company in Great Britain and will contribute to the deepening of cooperation between local entrepreneurs and Ukrainian businesses," he said during the opening.
