Head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, reported that the Russians used a rocket with shrapnel to attack Odesa. It is designed to eliminate human power. He noted that experts are still determining the type of weapon used by the Russians to strike.

"But I can state that there are holes from shrapnel on the walls around the affected object, which is used to destroy manpower and conduct hostilities. But not for attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians," Pletenchuk emphasized.

Former People's Deputy Serhii Kivalov was also injured as a result of the attack.
