Russia’s weapon production exceeds military demands – German defense minister

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation is already working to fill warehouses.

According to Pistorius, Russia is already producing more weapons and ammunition than it needs to wage a war of aggression against Ukraine.

He noted that with the increase in arms spending and the streamlining of the military economy, "a significant part or part of what is produced no longer goes to the front, but ends up in warehouses."

At the same time, he warns against further military ambitions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Now, you can be naive and say he's just doing it out of caution. As a skeptic, I'd say in this case he's doing it because he has plans, or might have plans."

Therefore, the members of the Alliance need to expand their defense industry faster.

The Secretary-General believes that in case of the victory of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Ukraine, there is no guarantee that Russian aggression will not spread to other countries.
