Mykola Kuleba, the founder and head of the charity organization Save Ukraine, announced this on Telegram.
"It is difficult for families to remember what they experienced, but we must talk about the crimes committed by the Russian Federation on our land," the post reads.
Kuleba thanked #WeAreAllUkrainians, the charity foundation "Humanity," and all other partners of Save Ukraine for supporting missions to save children.
"As of today, we have returned 290 children from Russia and temporarily occupied territories to Ukraine. Together, we are changing destinies and building a better world for the sake of the future," he added.
