Ukraine and Bulgaria set to co-host second Black Sea Security Conference in April
Ukraine and Bulgaria will hold the Second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform on April 15 in Sofia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' press service reports this.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ukraine and Bulgaria co-organized the conference in partnership with the Center for Defense Strategies (Ukraine).
It is noted that delegations from 42 states and eight international organizations will take part in the conference.
"Conference participants will analyze the impact of Russian aggression on the security situation in the Black Sea-Azov region and beyond, discuss strategies for responding to existing threats, and consider the future of regional security. The implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula will also be a key topic of discussion," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informed.

As Rubryka reported, the First Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform took place in Bucharest on April 12-13, 2023.
"Russia's unprovoked and unjustified military aggression against Ukraine has destroyed the security system in the Black Sea-Azov region. To find an effective toolkit to respond to these challenges and provide opportunities for sustainable development to all peaceful countries in the region, Ukraine initiated the First Black Sea Security Conference, which will be held jointly with Romania on April 12-13 in Bucharest," the Ministry of Defense stated.
Then, several countries confirmed their participation in the Crimean Platform summit at the highest level.
The Black Sea Security Conference completed the architecture of the International Crimean Platform. Representatives of more than 50 countries and organizations took part in the event, which demonstrates the interest in security in the Black and Azov Seas not only from the countries of the region but also from the whole world.
