Russian army shells Sumy region, killing one and injuring three-year-old child

On the morning of April 3rd, in the Sumy region, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Krasnopil community. As a result, one person was killed, and two others, including a three-year-old child, were injured.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that on Telegram.

"Today at 9:25 a.m., the Russians launched a rocket attack on the Krasnopil community. As a result of the attack, five cars, a store building, and a cultural center were damaged," the head of the region stated.

Also, the regional military administration reported that one person died as a result of a rocket attack. Two residents of the community were also injured – a father and his three-year-old daughter.

"All the necessary services are working on the spot," the officials added.

According to the regional military administration, during the night and morning, the Russians carried out five shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region. 23 explosions were recorded. Sumy, Khotyn, Krasnopil, and Seredyna-Buda communities came under fire.

• Khotyn community: the enemy fired mortars (ten explosions).
• Sumy community: an airstrike (two guided aerial bombs) was carried out on Sumy's suburban civil infrastructure.
• Krasnopil community: guided aerial bombs airstrike recorded (three explosions).
• Seredyna-Buda community: eight mines were dropped by the Russians on the community's territory.

It should be noted that a young boy, aged 11, passed away in the hospital on the morning of April 3. He had sustained severe injuries the day before during a Russian attack on the village of Novoosynove, located in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.

Furthermore, the casualties from the Russian missile strike on the Dnipro River on April 2nd have risen, including children among them.
