Kyiv unveils new mini-sculpture dedicated to Ukrainian forces
Kyiv unveils a new mini-sculpture "Heroes" honoring Ukrainian troops.
The bronze sculpture is said to depict a soldier bowing before the Ukrainian flag.
In order to get a good look at it, passersby will also have to bend the knee because the sculpture is set quite low.
The project's patrons donated a sculpture to the city, and the funds raised in the amount of $11,000 will be transferred to the "On the Shield" evacuation unit.
Yulia Bevzenko, the founder of the Shukai project, says that the sculpture is special for a number of reasons.
This is the first sculpture of the project that has colors, a bright blue and yellow flag.
The new sculpture by the "Shukai" project is the second to be dedicated to Ukrainian defenders. In June 2022, a sculpture in honor of the Ghost of Kyiv was unveiled on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street.
