70% of Russian assault groups fail to return from Krynky in Kherson region – military spokesperson
Up to 70% of Russian assault groups do not return from Krynky in the left bank of the Kherson region.
Enemy forces pull up resources from the rear, military spokesperson Natalia Humeniuk says.
"If the entire situation in the Zaporizhzhia sector is organized – from the landscape to the accumulation of troops to conduct regular assaults. As for Kherson, where the enemy has been trying unsuccessfully to drive our (military – ed.) from the bridgehead in the Krynky area for many months, they have a difficult situation with the formation of assault units."
Ukrainian forces continue to expand their bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Russian troops do not abandon their intention to drive Ukraine's units from their positions. Despite significant losses, Russian forces conduct aerial reconnaissance, put pressure with artillery shelling, and use a large number of attack drones of various types.
Humeniuk said that the number of Russian troops are estimated at more than 70,000 personnel and hundreds of weapons and equipment.
