Russian attack destroys restaurant and damages housing in Kharkiv

During the night of March 28, the Russian forces launched rocket and drone attacks on regions of Ukraine.
The attack destroyed a restaurant and severely damaged buildings in Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv, Rubryka reports, citing the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Russian forces targeted Kharkiv with drones overnight, damaging civilian infrastructure in the Kyivskyi city district.

Overall, the Russian strikes destroyed a restaurant, damaged office buildings, and shattered windows in nearby residential buildings. According to the prosecutor's office, no one was injured in the attack.

Law enforcement seized the debris of three drones. A criminal case has been initiated for violating laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Strike on Ukraine on the night of March 27–28
Russian forces launched Shahed drone attacks on Ukraine's territory during the night from March 27 to 28. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the drones initially entered Ukrainian airspace from Russia's Kursk Oblast towards Ukraine's northern Sumy region, heading for Kharkiv.
Later, Kharkiv Mayor Terekhov reported that the city's Kyivskyi district came under attack.
After some time, a threat of Shahed attacks was announced in the east-central Dnipropetrovsk and southeastern Zaporizhzhia regions.
Following the announcement of the threat to Ukraine's southern and central regions, explosions were heard in the city of Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Later, it became known that several private houses in Zaporizhzhia were damaged by falling debris from downed drones.
Overall, Russian forces attacked regions of Ukraine with rockets and 28 "Shahed" drones from the Black Sea and occupied Crimea and the Kursk Oblast. Air defense forces shot downed 26 drones.
