Ukrainian forces struck Russian targets in the occupied Sevastopol, drowning two Russian landing ships and a communications center.

Authorities confirmed the Ukrainian military attacked large landing ships Yamal and Azov.

The communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was also damaged.

"Any losses, especially such sensory losses as communication, always affect the ability to control troops. In any war, this is one of the main factors that can contribute to a positive outcome of combat operations. If you have a lot of units, you will not see victory if you cannot control them," said the Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk.

On March 23, an air raid was declared in the occupied Sevastopol. According to the online reports, the city's air defense system was working against an alleged enemy missile attack.

On March 24, another series of explosions occurred in the occupied Crimea, as drones hit an oil depot near the village of Hvardiyske.

On February 1, Ukrainian intelligence officers destroyed the Ivanovets missile boat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, worth $60-70 million.

The Ukrainian Navy stated that only five of the 13 ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet remained "in service" after the destruction of the Russian large amphibious assault ship Caesar Kunikov.
