Due to the fire damage caused by Ukrainian armed forces on the Orikhiv and Kherson fronts, Russian troops have lost two additional combat supply points and a total of 104 pieces of weaponry and military equipment. This includes three drone control stations and a communication tower.

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine reported this on Telegram, having received confirmation of the corresponding enemy losses within a day.

In particular, Ukraine's armed forces destroyed:

  • two portable radio-electronic warfare stations of the invaders,
  • two drone control antennas,
  • "Grad" rocket salvo fire system,
  • three anti-aircraft missile complexes, including "Strela-10" and "Tunguska."

Other items that were destroyed include:

  • 18 enemy guns,
  • eight mortars,
  • two "Plamya" mounted grenade launchers,
  • anti-tank missile complex,
  • one reconnaissance drone,
  • three aerial photography stations,
  • radio equipment,
  • Fifty-eight units of armored vehicles.
  • It was possible to destroy the Russian army's dugout and its personnel's location.

Moreover, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 124 Russian soldiers in the specified areas of the front.

Russian troops twice unsuccessfully tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Krynky area of the Kherson region and also carried out four assaults near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to the defenders, the enemy suffered losses and retreated to their original positions. The counter-battery fight continues.

The defense forces of the South continue to carry out comprehensive measures to maintain and strengthen their positions.

The Russian aggressors continue to conduct aerial reconnaissance, bombard with artillery fire, launch airstrikes, and deploy a significant amount of kamikaze drones of different varieties in this operational zone.

There are currently no enemy missile carriers in the Black Sea.

For reference:

It should be noted that the Russian occupiers intensified their assaults on the front. In particular, the Russians managed to capture Avdiivka and some neighboring villages. However, the Defense Forces are holding positions near Avdiivka, preventing the enemy from advancing further.

In addition, British intelligence believes that Chasiv Yar in the Bakhmut direction will probably be the next target of the Russian occupation forces in the Donetsk region because today, it is located approximately 5 km from the front line.

It's worth mentioning that ISW believes that delaying Western security assistance may also delay Ukrainian efforts to regain control in the entire area of operations. The upcoming offensive operation planned by Russia in the spring and summer could also hinder these efforts.

Also, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the situation in the Robotyne area is dynamic but not critical: the occupiers do not stop "meat" assaults.

In total, on March 23, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks by Russian occupiers on the Bakhmut front and held positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.

The military has recently eradicated almost 1,000 additional enemy fighters, resulting in a total loss of over 436,700 Russian soldiers since the beginning of their large-scale invasion.
