Russian forces attacked Ukraine with four missiles and 34 drones
On the night of March 23, Russian forces attacked Donetsk region with four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and part of the country with 34 Shahed drones.
The air defense downed 31 targets, the Air Force report says.
Russia continued targeting civilians in the southeastern regions that night.
The southern defense forces reported that the combat work lasted over 7 hours. Shahed-131/136 type drones were fired from the south maneuvered in several areas, and tried to bypass air defense systems.
There were some hits. Energy facilities were damaged in Dnipropetrovs'k and Zaporizhzhia regions.
On March 22, Russian forces conducted the largest attack on Ukraine's grid with over 150 drones and missiles of various types. Air defense forces shot down 55 drones and 37 missiles.
