Ukraine receives last two Mi-24 helicopters from Czechia
Czechia has sent the last two Mi-24 attack helicopters to Ukraine for military needs, Denikn reports.
The state has approved the last batch of Soviet-era helicopters without public announcement as a gift to Ukraine.
These are the last two helicopters (tail numbers 3365 and 3366) that Prague can transfer to Ukraine from its warehouse.
Czechia has handed over eight Mi-24 units, which will be the third tranche of helicopters.
The state supplies Mi-24B helicopters, but at one time it also had Mi-24DU and Mi-24D versions.
The Mi-24 is actively used by Ukraine's combat aviation that carry out transportation tasks and launch unguided missiles at enemy positions.
Ukrainian Mi-24s have started using American Zuni unguided air defense missiles launched from a four-round LAU-10 container mounted on the launcher.
